‘My photography predominantly consists of autonomous work. I work on long-term projects, which usually starts with a personal experience, and are centered around the themes of change, time and mortality. I use photography as an act of investigation. An attempt to get an understanding with the temporary nature of life. Therefore I visualize transitions in order to bind the past to the present. With my work I want to contribute to the collective awareness of our own mortality and how to cope with this.
